she is loving, she is kind and guarding. sometimes she embraces me in fierceness and sometimes in stillness.
soft and powerful. sowing and nourishing. she is Great Mother herself and she will come to you how you need her to be. she will come to you how she can teach you the best.

she came to me as an old woman with white hair and wrinkled skin. toothless and radiant. this is how she shows herself to me. and this is why I call her grandmother cacao.
pure love. that is grandmother cacao for me. I am journeying with her for some years already and I feel her call to touch more beings with her loving presence.
not only is she nourishing on a soul and heart level but also physically she’s ever giving.
here comes an overview of her ingredients:
theobromine
there is 18-35mg theobromine per 100g contained in the cacao. it is working with the nervous system and brings clarity through opening the blood vessels so that more oxygen can circulate.
antioxidants
cacao contains more antioxidants than for example blueberries or pomegranate. they help to relax, to balance inflammations and have positive effects on the ageing process.
calcium
the high calcium content in cacao supports the transmission of nerve signals/ nerve impulses. cacao contains 160mg calcium per 100g which is also important for bones, teeth and muscles.
iron
cacao contains 7mg iron per 100g. iron is important for the blood formation and supports our efficiency and attentiveness.
magnesium
the magic bean contains 500mg magnesium per 100g (which is a lot!) and supports the metabolism and the brain. it works muscle relaxant and spasmolytic. I highly recommend drinking cacao during the days of bleeding 🙂
flavonoids
epicatechin is the main flavonoid in cacao supporting concentration, perception/awareness and maintaining the cognitive skills as it is affecting the learning centre in the brain and the brain in general.
polyphenols
it is proven that the polyphenols of the cacao pass into the blood. they protect the cells from free radicals, slow-down the cell oxidation and reduce grease deposits in the blood vessels (prophylaxis for arteriosclerosis and heart attack).
amino acids
tryptophan contained in the cacao is the precursor of serotonin which is forming when tryptophan is dismantled. it means that through cacao the serotonin level is increased gifting us well-being and a blissful state.
