Reiki is the universal life energy flowing through us, our being and the whole universe. it connects, opens and nourishes.
Reiki is the basis of all being. it is intertwined with all that is and it helps to create harmony and healing between body, mind and soul. Reiki allies those again so that balance, connection and well-being can blossom again.
Reiki is the source of all energy and it helps you to come into entirety. Reiki is a safe and natural method of energetical healing. it honours your boundaries and only reveals what is ready to be seen and heard. it helps you remembering your essence – remembering your wholeness as a natural state of being.
how Reiki came back to us
Reiki has existed ever since and its teachings were passed on verbally from generation to generation which eventually led into Reiki being almost forgotten. it is said that Reiki was a common practice in India which has been also used by Jesus and Buddha.
Mikao Usui has been always interested in gaining wisdom and knowledge and studied in a buddhistic monastery. it was 1922 when he decided to go to a cave at the mountain Kurama Yama for meditation and fasting. he was sitting under a small waterfall to let the water purify and activate his crown chakra.
as the days and weeks went by and he got weaker and weaker there was entering a light through his crown chakra. he felt like he got hit form a lightning and passed out. the next morning he found himself feeling vital – not hungry and not weak but in a state of bliss and immersed in the feeling of being part of the universe – not being separated anymore.
in his excitement when running down the mountain he fell and hurted his foot. but as he was touching his foot the pain was gone and the injury healed.
through this profound experience of enlightenment and healing Reiki was rediscovered. Mikao Usui is also called Usui Sensei which means teacher. in the same year he established the first Reikiclinic and school in Tokyo where he initiated a few Reikimasters to make sure the healing method would not be forgotten again.
Reiki is the highest and deepest frequency connecting all worldly beings with each other.
